I have lived in Carthay Square for over 30 years. I am a huge fan of all the Carthays and the surrounding communities. I am proud to be a member of the Neighborhood Association Steering Committee and work with long-time and newer residents to strengthen our neighborhood bonds.

P.I.c.o. nc (land use committee)

After almost a year as a Board Member and Communications Director of the P.I.C.O. NC (Neighborhood Council for 11 neighborhoods) I realized it is Land Use issues that most concern me. LA is growing fast and neighborhoods are being forced to change. We help neighbors get involved in the process so they can help to manage that change.

Do something good...2022

Year 8 of the Annual Carthay THANKSgiving Food effort will be an event. I’ve reached out to the community to join me at the LA Food Bank’s distribution center at 2300 Pellissier Place in Industry to help with food assembly. Because of the pandemic the food bank no longer supports collection so we are helping where the need is- assembly. You can always make monetary donations to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank or drop off food donations at two local food banks:

Postcards have been delivered to the neighborhood with detail

The distribution event date: Friday, December 16th from 9:00 am to noon

Location: 2300 Pellissier Place, Industry Too many Angelenos will go hungry this holiday season let’s help as much as we can. I am always proud to be a Carthay resident and neighbor!
