“Susan was everything I could have asked for in a realtor. I’ll say upfront: we were not easy clients. We were moving during a pandemic, from out of state, to a massive city we knew little about, in terrible market, with a limited budget. As a result, Susan did a ton of legwork for us – showing us places all over Los Angeles so we could get a feel for different neighborhoods, doing all the preliminary showings over Facetime. Truly a savior. She was so attentive to the little details that make a big difference over time (i.e., which walls were shared with neighbors, whether sound bled through from neighboring units/local streets/highways nearby, how that might change during different times of day, whether there were sufficient outlets, whether assigned parking spots were actually being respected by neighbors, etc.). Really tough line to straddle (I would know, my mom’s a realtor). But Susan nailed it. I never felt like our needs were being invalidated, but I did feel like I was growing in my understanding of the LA market, what was available, and how we could choose a home in LA that would best fit our needs. Tough to do in general, very tough in this market. All that said, Susan is also lovely to work with. Super prompt in responding, great at negotiating with the other side, knowledgeable about the area, and consistently went the extra mile like it was no big deal. "After a year of using generator produced electricity the property owner offered us the opportunity to terminate our lease at no penalty. We are an LA based furniture manufacturer that needed three-phase 460/480v power, 12+ feet ceilings, a loading dock, and had outgrown our 25k factory space.
